The Atlanta Assassinations

Because I believe in equal opportunity, I am a bit disappointed that the media have not adequately covered Sean Spicer's statement that Atlanta, like Bowling Green, was targeted by terrorists.
"Spicer: ...But what do we say to the family who loses somebody over a terroristic (sic) -- to whether it's Atlanta or San Bernardino or the Boston bomber? Those people, each of whom had gone out to a country and then come back. Now granted they're not on -- on the country --
Raddatz: None of those are countries on this list."
Clearly Kellyanne Conway is not the only Trump Enabler who makes up faux terrorist attacks

Perhaps Spicer was thinking about the 3 bombings in Atlanta that were committed by Eric Rudolph, a white "Christian" American, in 1996 and 1997. Or perhaps he was just pulling alternative facts out of his rear in an attempt to strike more fear in the hearts of Americans so they will bend to Trump's authoritarian tactics. (I'm putting my money on the latter.)

I'm further convinced that Trump's push to terrorize Americans with seemingly constant references to terrorist attacks is rooted in his own desire for autocratic rule because, if Trump really wanted to save a lot of American lives, he would focus on gun safety and ownership issues. Many, many more Americans die from gunshots (1 in 358) than from terrorism (1 in 45,808). In fact, the odds of being killed in a terrorist attack committed by a refugee are 1 in 46,192,893.

Based on the above information alone, I urge each and every one of you to fact check anything that comes out of the mouths of Trump and his Enablers. I also ask you to consider their motivations when you discover that they have, once again, presented "alternative facts". If they must lie in an attempt to get people to support their actions, then something is terribly amiss.

THIS IS NOT NORMAL!!!
